Women’s Awards 2014

Run by The Leicestershire Asian Business Association, the Women’s Award returns in 2014, with a new judging panel and set of criteria.

The Awards seek to recognise women of all ages and from all communities, who have achieved something extraordinary in their lives, whether in business, academia, family, community or charity. The award scheme is free to enter, and nominations can be made on behalf of, or by entrants themselves. The awards will be presented at a glamorous ceremony on the 31st October at the Bentley Showroom, with guest speaker Secretary of State for Education, Minister for Women and Loughborough MP Nicky Morgan.

Nicky Morgan, the epitome of the successful woman, was elected as the Conservative MP for Loughborough in 2010. Nicky has had a flourishing career in both law and politics. Recently appointed as Secretary of State for Education she retains her responsibilities as Minister for Women.
